Description/ About the Institution

The Army Public School, Dagshai is a co-educational residential school which was established by the Army to provide quality quality education to the children of the Army Personnel at an affordable cost. The school also provides education to the children of civilians and NRI's.


It is a member of the Indian Public Schools' Conference and is one of the best residential schools in the country. The school is from class V to class XII and admits students as both boarders and day-scholars. It has well-qualified and dedicated teaching staff that looks after the students in academics, games and co-curricular activities throughout the day.

  • Admission Procedure The students are given admissions on the basis of the entrance test conducted by the school on third Sunday in the month of February. The students have to first register themselves for the entrance test.

    Admission is normally done for the classes V, VI and VII. Admission to higher classes depends upon the availability of the vacancies.

    The school prepares students for the board exams by having Winter coaching classes in the months of January and February for the students of classes X and XII.
