Banasthali Vidyapith School is a residential senior secondary school which offers education from the primary to XII class. It is a girls school situated in the Tonk district of Rajasthan.


The school was founded on October 6, 1935 by Smt. Ratan Shastri and Pandit Hiralal Shastri. It is associated with the Banasthali University and aims at a fully balanced all-round development of a student's personality.

  • Initiatives The school has taken various initiatives for the benefit of the society. Some of them are as follows:

    1. It run an Adult Education Center where the mothers of the students coming from Banasthali Village are taught to prepare items like carpet, doormats, bags, shoes etc. from the waste materials.

    2. The school conducts health programs like Checkup Camp for Eyes, Bronchial Asthma, Hemoglobin Testing etc. for the villagers.

    3. The school has a community F.M. Radio station known as Radio Banasthali. Through this radio station, the senior students of the school spread awareness of health, food, clothing, agriculture and cleanliness among the local people.

  • Student Information The school has classes from Nursery to XII and admits only girls' students. There are 1,500 girls' students enrolled in the school.
